Who we are

My Islamic World is a mobile app with Islamic tools, guides, daily content and games, and this website is where Android users can subscribe to My Islamic World Premium. For any privacy question, contact us at myislamicworld.app@gmail.com.

Information we collect

Subscription information: when you subscribe, you give your email address to us and to Paddle at checkout. We receive your email, the plan you chose, your subscription status, trial and renewal dates, and the Paddle customer and subscription IDs. We do not receive or store your full card or bank details.

Marketing preference: if you tick the optional box, we record that you agreed to receive emails about new features, content and offers. The box is unticked by default and is never required to subscribe.

Support messages: if you email us, we keep your message and email address so we can answer you.

App data: many app features, such as your diary, personal adhkar, counters and progress, are stored on your device. Features you choose to use, such as the leaderboard, location-based prayer times, Qibla or mosque search, may process a player name, score, or your approximate location to work. Location is used only with your permission.

How we use your information

We use your information to provide the app and website, process your subscription, link Premium access to the email you used at checkout, let you activate Premium in the app, answer support requests, prevent fraud and abuse, meet legal and tax obligations, and — only if you opted in — send you marketing emails.

Payments through Paddle

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders and processes your payment, billing details and taxes. Paddle's own privacy notice applies to the information you give them: https://www.paddle.com/legal/privacy.

Service providers

We use a small number of trusted providers to run the service: Paddle (payments and subscriptions), Supabase (secure backend database that stores subscription status and checks Premium access), and our website hosting provider. This website loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers. The free version of the app shows advertisements served by Google AdMob (Google Ireland Limited), which may use device identifiers such as the Google Advertising ID according to your device and app settings; you can reset or opt out of personalised advertising in your device settings. Premium removes ads. We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies and local storage

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. It saves your chosen colour theme in your browser's local storage, and Paddle's checkout may use cookies needed to process your payment securely.

How long we keep information

We keep subscription records for as long as your subscription is active and afterwards as long as required for accounting, tax, fraud-prevention and legal purposes. Marketing consent is kept until you withdraw it. Support emails are kept as long as needed to resolve your request.

Your rights and choices

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, or object to its use, by emailing myislamicworld.app@gmail.com. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in the email or by contacting us. Some information must be kept to comply with law, even after deletion is requested.

Security

Payments are handled by Paddle over encrypted connections. Premium access is granted only after Paddle confirms the payment to our backend; private keys are never placed in the website or app code.

Children

The app is suitable for a general audience. Subscriptions must be purchased by an adult or with the permission of a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for marketing.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our services change. The date at the top shows the latest version. Significant changes will be highlighted on this website.
